A disciple is one who is willing to take upon His name and follow Him always by keeping his commandments. Everyone has a choice to follow him or not; he has given us the agency. As faithful members, we strive to become better disciples every day.
Amidst the pandemic, my testimony is that God has done so many unimaginable things in my life, and Mission is one of the great things he made possible. I believe that we are all children of our Heavenly Father, who loves us so much, and he doesn't want us to fail. I know that our Heavenly Father wants us to be successful and return to him and be his disciples. I know that we can return to him through Jesus Christ and by following the path of Discipleship. Walking the Path of Discipleship is not easy for me; even on my Mission, it wasn't easy. It takes much time and practice, sometimes little by little but most of the times, failures by failures. There were times, on my Mission, I took two steps backwards and one step forward in the path of Discipleship, yet I didn't give up; I strove my best to walk the path of Discipleship so that I can make my life disciplined.
I firmly testify, 'The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' is the true Church. I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior and the redeemer of all humanity. I believe in his love, and I believe in his holy sacrifice. The essential thing mission taught me is that we have so many trials, sadness, discouragement, and failures. Still, we can overcome everything by Savior's love and his sacrifice and be his disciples.
Though we all are unique and different in this world, our Savior's invitation for this world is the same for everyone. He said, 'COME UNTO ME AND COME FOLLOW ME'. These two invitations are not different, and these two invitations will always help us know that we all are Jesus Christ's disciples. I know that when we follow these two invitations, we will be able to go closer to God. I know that the Lord has also called us special people in his plan, and He invites us to follow Him. The invitation to follow Christ is an invitation to follow His example and become like Him, which can only happen through the Atonement of Jesus Christ and Obedience. To become like Christ requires exercising Faith, repenting, keeping covenants, receiving an increased measure of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. Lord's Mission was full of pure love, blessing, miracles, sacrifice and hardworking. It is helping me every day to walk in the path of Discipleship.
