The scriptures often connect the words “cry repentance” with “missionary work” or the work of His disciples. As I review the scriptures, the word “repentance” stands out for me personally. It reminds me that this life is an opportunity for us to repent or change. Therefore, change is good. In reality it is one of the key reasons to live in mortality. “I say unto you, if ye have come to a knowledge of the goodness of God, and his matchless power, and his wisdom, and his patience, and his long-suffering towards the children of men; and also, the atonement which has been prepared form the foundation of the world, that therefore salvation might come to him that should put his trust in the Lord, and should be diligent in keeping his commandments, and continue in the faith even unto the end of his life, I mean the life of the mortal body.” (Mosiah 4:6) So we are all here to repent and to change.
We have exciting new change that has taken place with the India Website. If you have enjoyed the blessings oflds.org your going to love the new website. It has all the bells and whistles of lds.org but with an Indian twist. Let me tell you of a few of changes:
Check out the home page. It should look familiar as the format reflects the worldwide church site.
- New Articles – All have asked for new articles. There are a few found on the site today but we need many many many more. The home page tells you where to send your articles. We promise to speed up the time between submitting articles and the posting of the actual article.
- Pictures and Video – The new site allows us to add as many pictures as you want and video can be embedded in the actual article.
- Tagging Articles – We want you connect this to your Face book, twitter, etc. pages.
- Church Locations – If you are visiting and want to know where to find a meeting house. This site has more than names. It has pictures, meeting times and contact information.
To make this all work, we need your help. Our website will change as we all participate;
- Send in articles, pictures, and video that could be enjoyed by others.
- Update information – If you see something that is incorrect, let us know so we can make the change.
- Share what you see – Use the site as a way to bring the members and their friends together.
- Church Events – Use the site to remind people of special events.
- Have Fun – President Monson has invited us to “Hasten His work”. By sharing and communicating with others, we are strengthened and encouraged.
