I am very grateful for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the Gospel in my life. Because of the knowledge that I am gaining here, I am able to become closer to our savior and be self-reliant.
“Of all the knowledge we can gain, the most important is a testimony of Jesus Christ, His divine mission, and His gospel. To gain this testimony, we should continually study the scriptures, pray, and live righteously. All the knowledge we obtain will not matter unless we have understood and obeyed the saving principles of the gospel.” 1
Gaining knowledge is a journey; the church ensures it helps us gain on many platforms. One such platform is the Young single adult conference, and I always feel it is a blessing to attend the young single adult conferences that the church organizes; it has helped me be more confident and choose my friends wisely. The conference that I attended in 2023 was a memorable one, and I was able to learn so many things. This also has instigated me to become a full-time volunteer and serve the Lord, and I know this will help me to understand his love for me and to be more self-reliant.
