My Adventures in Primary Class: Learning and Growing Every Day

Hi everyone! I am excited to share a little about my favourite place in the whole church – the Primary class. I play, make friends, and learn wonderful things every Sunday. My Primary leaders are super impressive. They told me about this Children's Development Program, which sounded like a big adventure. I thought, 'Why not give it a try?' So, I set some goals for myself. When I achieve them, I was like winning a treasure hunt – so, so happy!

One of my goals was not to play games on my parent's mobile phones during church meeting hours. It was tough at first, but guess what? I did it! And do you know what happened? I started paying more attention in Primary class, and the lessons became even more exciting.

Reading the Book of Mormon every day was another goal I set. It is like going on a journey with amazing friends like Nephi. Have you heard about him? He is in the Book of Mormon, and he had this incredible adventure where God asked him to build a ship. Now, I would not know how to build a ship made of Legos, and Nephi was asked to build a real one! But do you know what I learned from Nephi? Whenever he was puzzled, he just asked God for help by praying. And guess what? God helped him every time! It reminded me of my favourite hymn, 'A Child's Prayer.' It says, 'Pray, he is there. Speak; he is listening. You are his child. His love now surrounds you. He hears your prayer. He loves the children. Of such is the kingdom, the kingdom of Heaven.'1 It is so true!

Being in Primary is like being on a fantastic quest, full of challenges and surprises. And you know what the best part is? We are all on this journey together, and I have made some amazing friends along the way. So, if you ever find yourself in Primary, prepare for an adventure of a lifetime! You will play, learn, and discover that God is always there, listening to our prayers and cheering us on. Let us keep setting goals and growing together – I love Primary.
