As inadequate as I initially felt, being called to Teach the Institute classes has been a very humbling and very personal experience. It has definitely brought me closer to our Saviour by helping me practice what we teach! It has helped me sanctify my soul, cleanse myself from all the impurities of the world and strive to be the “Impact Teacher”, inspired by the Master Teacher Himself, as quoted from Elder Vaughn J. Featherstone in one of his talks.
Studying, preparing and feasting upon the words of Christ, receiving answers to my soul-seeking questions and being able to be of help to others in showing them the way to receive answers for themselves through these classes are a few things I love and learn while teaching the Gospel truths.
It has been more than just a pleasure to be with, learn with, and grow with young friends of the same values and standards. Their insights have always broadened my vision, making it seem possible to live the teachings of Christ not only at ease but during life’s hardest times as well.
Every lesson has increased my testimony of Jesus Christ, the Redeemer of the World. Has increased my faith in the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, His True Church, and the fullness of the gospel in these last choicest days on earth.
I am in awe of the everlasting love that is offered to us from the heavens and the access we have to the open heaven that values our every little effort towards good.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to teach, serve, love and learn from each other and extremely grateful for the correct teaching pattern taught by the Master Teacher – Christ Himself. I know this is His Church, and we live in a time where we can find peace and happiness in Christ despite the world's chaos and disputes.
