Hold Unto Him In Every Thought

'One of the great ironies in life is this: The one precious thing that Heavenly Father will never take from us is our agency—the very thing that we give away so freely to others'.  1 Agency is a powerful weapon, it can either help us become closer unto Heavenly Father, or it can drive us away. I always utilize this weapon with Holy Ghost, my protector, to faithfully hold on to him.

Since Baptism, my children and I held the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  My Faith grew up gradually day by day. I have seen my children being blessed because they were determined to hold on to the Lord even amid sore trials. We were mindful of keeping all the commandments of the Lord which ensured our safety. We never departed from the Lord and in his Church, even in our most challenging times. Watching my grandchildren grow joyfully in the Gospel affirms me that every trial will refine us and help us shine, not just for us but our generations together. Holding unto Christ is a Joy; it is never a Task for me. We awaited the day of our sealing in the Temple, and God fulfilled our earnest desires. The one thing I strongly learnt and would like to share is when we do not depart from the Lord, and his Gospel, then promised blessings are ours. It will bless your lives as it did to mine. The scriptures have promised us, 'Ye cannot behold with your natural eyes, for the present time, the design of your God concerning those things which shall come hereafter, and the glory which shall follow after much tribulation'. 2 Yes! After much tribulation comes blessings. To receive that, we need to hold him in every thought.
