I am so grateful to be a missionary in 'INDIA BENGALURU MISSION. 'I am so happy that God chooses ordinary people like me to do His extraordinary work. It has been more than a year that I have been on my Mission, and I have learned lots of things. My Mission president, fellow missionaries, companions, and the people I serve have taught me innumerable lessons, but most importantly, the Holy Ghost has taught me remarkable lessons. I have felt His presence throughout.

I am amazed at our Saviour's love for all His children. I have witnessed miracles in my life, and I see them among the people I serve. I usually feel shy to talk to others, but I pray fervently every day so I can overcome my weakness. It was not an easy task for me, but I knew I could overcome my weakness through our Heavenly Father's love and mercy, and now my weakness has become a strength. I see a miraculous change in me, which has made my testimony stronger than ever before. One of my favourite scriptures in the bible says, 'Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.' [1] This has taught me that I did not choose God, but the real truth is that He has chosen me to serve Him.

The scriptures teach us, 'For many are called, but few are chosen.' [2] Whenever I read this, It helped me understand the importance of my calling. With much firmness, I can say that nothing is a coincidence in this mortal life; everything happens according to His plan and purpose. And His Purpose is powerful, and we can be happy when we live by it. I am trying every moment to live life to fulfil my purpose in this world. Everything we learn in our Church teaches us to become better disciples in Christ and look at the bigger picture that our Father in Heaven has for us. By this, we can understand how powerful our purpose is and how we can live life to fulfil the Mission in this mortal world. I know that God loves us so much that he gave his only begotten son for us. He is the only person who can open the gates of exaltation for us. I testify that Prophet Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon; it is a marvellous book that helps people prepare to meet God.
