'We had a successful fireside (Digital Media Resources Awareness Training) on 31st May at Vasant Vihar chapel in New Delhi India district and the response was quite amazing. I was assisted in this efforts by Bro Ashish Pokhrel and a couple missionaries Elder & Sister Black. Some of the Websites show in the presentation were already known to members however many other stuffs were new to the members. Elder & Sister Black also shared in detail about the 'mormon newsroom.in' and even distributed the visiting cards for the same. Members were pretty excited to know about the different websites and mobile apps that are available through which they can share the gospel with their friends and family. They became even more excited when they got to know about the 2 weeks Sunday school curriculum that’s going to be followed after the fireside across all the branches where it will be taught how to use the available media tools practically.
As a whole, it was a great overview session, spirit was strong, hearts were touched, minds were enlightened and everyone enjoyed the session thoroughly. As rightly said by Prophet Monson that mere wishing will not make it and only preaching will not make the kingdom of God so we need to come forward and get united in our best efforts to share the gospel with others and help them come unto christ. Great days are indeed ahead'
