Atonement plays a major role in my life; it has helped me to mould my life. The Saviour's Atonement is available to each of us; we can access the Atonement through pure repentance. When we repent, the Lord allows us to put our past behind us. Repentance is a daily process, and through His Atonement, we can receive happiness and peace again in our lives.

There were times when I lost peace because of my past mistakes, but the scriptures taught me to rely on the Atonement. 'I say unto you, that salvation doth not come by the law alone; and were it not for the Atonement, which God himself shall make for the sins and iniquities of his people, that they must unavoidably perish, not withstanding the law of Moses.' 1

In these verses, Abinadi beautifully explained about Atonement and the law of ordinance, which we sometimes fail to follow and are slow to remember. This led me to read and learn about repentance; I pondered His unconditional love for all his children and me. I immediately went on my knees and sought for his forgiveness. As I repented of my sins, I was able to feel more of His love, my testimony was rejuvenated, and it made me fresh, just as the scriptures teach us, 'Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.' 2 It was a beautiful feeling, that I will always cherish.

His unconditional love is the solution to all my troubles and challenges in my life. He is always there for me; he hears my humble plea, softens my troubled heart, soothes my pain, and brings me joy and happiness.

Learning and knowing more about Christ will always bring happiness to our lives. It is our responsibility to strictly observe laws and ordinances so we can experience His beatitude.

As Lord said, 'For I have decreed in my heart, saith the Lord, that I will prove you in all things, whether you will abide in my covenant, even unto death, that you may be found worthy.' 3

We can receive all blessings we want in our life by repenting every day. Applying Christ's attributes in life will surely make us better people; I believe in Christ and in His Atonement and in the Power of Repentance.
