When the bishopric gave us the challenge of completing the Book of Mormon, I was studying the book of Ether and was about to complete the book of Mormon, and I wanted to read the Bible, but I don't know why God again wanted me to read the book of Mormon. When the bishopric gave us The Book of Mormon challenge tracker sheet, the first thing I noticed was a quote from President Russel M. Nelson, 'I promise that as you ponder what you study in the Book Of Mormon, the windows of Heaven will open and you will receive answers to your questions and direction for your own life.' 1 When I read the quote, I understood that I needed to ponder more on the verses and learn what the scriptures are trying to teach me.

Hence, I started to maintain a study journal which helped me understand things more clearly; sometimes, my husband also helped me to understand the things I could not understand while studying. 'And upon these, I write the things of my soul, and many of the scriptures which are engraven upon the plates of brass. For my soul delighteth in the scriptures, and my heart pondereth them, and writeth them for the learning and the profit of my children. Behold, my soul delighteth in the things of the Lord; and my heart pondereth continually upon the things which I have seen and heard.'2  Just as it says in this scripture, my soul did also delight in the things of God and my heart was filled with joy and happiness. April was a very special month for me because every day I spent studying The Book Of Mormon was the time I felt the spirit of God so strong and understood how much Jesus Christ loves me and was able to find answers to my questions. Through this challenge, I learned that I should never stop reading the book of Mormon because it blessed my life abundantly, and I will always continue to read it to feel happiness and joy. I know that God talks to us when we study the scriptures and ponder them. I know that Jesus Christ lives and loves me so much, and He died for my sins and is always mindful of me. I know that this church is the true church upon the whole face of the earth, and I know that God chooses prophets, and prophet Russel M. Nelson is a true living prophet who leads us and guides us in this last dispensation. I share in the name of Lord and saviour Jesus Christ Amen. 'said Leena Braganza

Anishraj Braganza shared the following words: 'There are many good things that happened in my life, especially whenever I read the Book Of Mormon. First, I understood how much my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ loves me. Second, it helps me to understand what I should be and what I should teach my family to walk upright before God. Third, it helps me to have strong faith. Fourth, it helps me to love all God's children and never hate anyone. Fifth, it helps me to know the will of God in my life. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God as, 'I did pray and asked God about the book, and I know it is true by the power of the Holy Ghost.'3 I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer, and I know that the Book of Mormon and the Bible together bring the fullness of the gospel. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
