Reflecting on my journey, I am reminded of the divine intervention and blessings that have guided me to the temple. Upon concluding my missionary service, my heart was set on a commitment to visit the temple every two years. In 2018, with God's grace, I had the opportunity to be sealed to my husband in the Taiwan Temple, marking the beginning of our temple journey.
However, our path was not without its challenges. We faced the daunting task of building our home while managing loans and other responsibilities, leaving little time for temple visits. Despite our earnest desires, the COVID-19 pandemic and financial constraints thwarted our plans, repeatedly postponing our temple attendance. It felt as though the timing for our temple blessings was not yet aligned with the will of our Heavenly Father, prompting us to patiently await His guidance.
Nevertheless, our yearning for temple worship only deepened with time, particularly after attending temple dedications and witnessing the profound blessings bestowed upon those who entered the Lord's house. The proximity and affordability of the Bangkok Temple in Thailand sparked hope within us, reigniting our desire to visit the temple.
Following the temple dedication in Thailand, my husband and I resolved to make the journey despite our financial uncertainties. Trusting in the Lord's providence, my husband miraculously secured the necessary funds within a mere two weeks and arranged our travel plans. It was a testament to the power of faith and divine intervention. After five years of perseverance and trials, we were finally bound for the temple.
In the temple, we experienced the boundless love of our Heavenly Father for His children, a love that transcends earthly limitations. Through temple ordinances, we were able to exercise the pure love of Christ, paving the way for eternal blessings and familial unity. These sacred experiences affirmed our testimonies of the living reality of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and the truthfulness of the gospel restored upon the earth. With deep gratitude, I bear witness to the sanctity of temple worship and the profound blessings it bestows upon those who enter its sacred walls. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
